For example Fujitsu-Siemens Notebooks Pro laptop would be appear here, a Windows XP system houses logo looks like this:

If you want to put their own graphics in there, you can create your image c. Bmp image file. It is also a good idea to create this bitmap image of the same background of Shadow Gray (RGB: 192, 192, 192) used in properties dialog. Otherwise, you risk letting Windows make their own decisions in terms of color and contrast against the background shading.

The next thing is to consider the image size. The system properties dialog only real estate offers sufficient image of about 180 (a) x120 (high) pixels. Make sure you can meet its logo in this area.

After you have created your logo and saved it as. Bmp file, copy it to the system32 subfolder of your Windows system folder. On a desktop PC you may not be able to do that, but there is a way cut down on the energy consumption of your desktop computer. The only way to save power on a desktop PC is is to turn the computer off when you're not using it. But somehow turning it down it take more time, the faster way to take it down is by using Windows XP hibernation capability.

The benefit of hibernation saves your open windows on your computer hard drive and the computer shut down within a few seconds. And the next time you start again your computer, all your open files and windows stay in place exactly where you left them. This technology is really cool. That why I love hibernation.

What is Hibernation, and why should I uses it?

Hibernation is an alternative to the spare capacity and saves your programs and shut the computer completely. Hibernation does not use force, and your computer is necessary only a few seconds to recover from hibernation, when you want to use it again. This technology was design to reduce energy use when your computer is not in use by the shutdown of parts of your computer, using the most energy. Standby use more energy than hibernation, but it takes less time to start your computer from standby than from hibernation.

Follow these step to put your computers into hibernation mode:

1. Click on the Start menu, and then click Turn Off Computer. (see the images)

2. The IP address somehow automatically given by the Network / server (DCHP), and also can be set manually called static IP address.
There are several ways to show and determine your current IP address information, either using IPCONFIG or using your network connection at control panel.

Using IPCONFIG to display your IP address:

From the Start click RUN then      type CMD;

at command prompt type IPCONFIG /ALL , (/ALL are optional to show all available IP configuration in your system)

Some of this information is concerned with solving site, the name of an address at things that TCP / IP really dealing with, not words. This is the DNS information and is used so that you do not need to pray for the location of the site each time you visit the site. Although Windows XP are very efficient DNS cache, you can increase your overall performance by increasing its size.
