Speed up menu display in winodws XP

Some users complaining to me that their work station is working to slow when they click on the start menu.

That because Microsoft Windows XP uses too much visual effects to provide a rich and friendly interface. One of these settings allows menus to disappear in the end, when you open them. This visual effect is so smooth that you have never noticed this, however, the effect came cause menus to take slightly longer to appear.

I think this should be a problem on a fast computer. But for a small workstation just like my office clients, somehow is not responding as quickly wish, you can make rapid display menus by changing and costume it.

To speed up menu display

1. Click on the Start menu. then Right-click on My Computer, and then click Properties.

2. Click the Advanced tab. In the Performance area, click Settings.

3. On the Visual Effects tab in the Performance Options dialog box, clear the Fade or slide menus into view check box.

4. now Click OK.

5. In the System Properties dialog box, click OK

Now whenever you click a start menu, it should appear almost instantly. If not contact me.
