There are several ways to show and determine your current IP address information, either using IPCONFIG or using your network connection at control panel.
Using IPCONFIG to display your IP address:
- From the Start click RUN then type CMD;
- at command prompt type IPCONFIG /ALL , (/ALL are optional to show all available IP configuration in your system)
Save it to text files:
1. or you can also save that information into TXT files, here is how:
2. open your command prompt first, from the Start menu click RUN and type CMD;
3. at the command prompt type IPCONFIG /ALL > C:\myIP.TXT
This tips is tested on windows XP, it’s may not working if tested in older version of windows.
